April 10: The Cross and Humility

Scripture:
“Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus… who humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.”
—Philippians 2:5, 8 (NKJV)

Reflection:
The cross is not just a symbol of salvation, but also of humility. Jesus, the Son of God, chose to lower Himself, serve others, and give His life. In a world that glorifies pride and self-promotion, the cross calls us to a different way—the way of humility and selfless love.

Prayer:
Lord, teach me to walk in the humility of Christ. May I not seek recognition, but rather seek to serve. Shape my heart after Yours and help me live with the mind of Christ. Amen.
