Joy in Trials – James 1:2-3
“Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.”
Reflection: This verse challenges our natural response to difficulties. It doesn’t ask us to pretend trials are pleasant, but to view them through the lens of their purpose. Each challenge can strengthen our faith and build perseverance. Like a muscle growing stronger through exercise, our faith develops through facing and overcoming obstacles with God’s help.
Prayer of the Day: Father, give me Your perspective on my trials. Help me see how You’re using challenges to strengthen my faith. Grant me joy in knowing You’re working through every situation. Amen.
