Be Still – Psalm 46:10
“Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”
Reflection: In our busy world, being still feels counterproductive. Yet God calls us to pause and remember who He is. This stillness isn’t just physical quiet – it’s a soul-deep recognition of God’s sovereignty. When we’re still, we stop striving and start trusting. We remember that God’s plan is bigger than our immediate circumstances, encompassing all nations and all of creation.
Prayer of the Day: God, help me be still in Your presence today. Quiet my racing thoughts and anxious heart. Let me rest in knowing You are God, sovereign over all things. Be exalted in my life today. Amen.
