Trust in the Lord – Proverbs 3:5-6
“Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”
Reflection: On this second day of the year, God’s Word reminds us of a fundamental truth: our own understanding is limited, but God’s wisdom is perfect. Life often presents situations where the path forward isn’t clear. Whether facing career decisions, relationship challenges, or personal doubts, our natural tendency is to rely on our own reasoning. Yet this verse calls us to a deeper trust – one that involves our whole heart. When we submit our plans, dreams, and uncertainties to God, He promises to guide our steps and straighten our paths.
Prayer of the Day: Lord, strengthen my trust in You today. Help me release my grip on my own understanding and fully embrace Your wisdom. Guide my decisions, both big and small, and help me recognize Your direction. Make my paths straight as I submit to Your will. Amen.
