April 8: The Cross and Our Victory
Scripture:
“Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.”
—Colossians 2:15 (NKJV)
Reflection:
At the cross, it looked like defeat—but it was the greatest victory ever won. Jesus disarmed the powers of darkness and triumphed over them. The cross broke the power of sin, death, and the enemy. As believers, we don’t fight for victory—we fight from it.
Prayer:
Jesus, thank You for Your victory on the cross. Remind me daily that the battle is already won. Help me walk in the authority You’ve given me and never forget the power of what You accomplished. Amen.
