April 2nd – The Cost of Redemption
April 2: The Cost of Redemption
Scripture:
“Knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold… but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.”
—1 Peter 1:18-19 (NKJV)
Reflection:
Our salvation didn’t come cheaply. It wasn’t bought with gold or earned by good works. It came through the blood of the spotless Lamb—Jesus Christ. The cross reminds us of the immense price God paid to redeem us. We are deeply loved and eternally valued.
Prayer:
Jesus, thank You for shedding Your precious blood to redeem me. Help me to live in gratitude and never forget the price You paid. Keep me close to the cross. Amen.
