April 12: The Cross and Grace

Scripture:
“I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain.”
—Galatians 2:21 (NKJV)

Reflection:
The cross is the ultimate expression of grace. We could never earn God’s favor or work our way to righteousness. That’s why Jesus came—to do what we could never do. The cross frees us from the pressure of performance and invites us to rest in grace.

Prayer:
Thank You, Lord, for the gift of grace through the cross. Help me to stop striving and start trusting. May I never take Your grace for granted, but live in the freedom it provides. Amen.
