God’s New Thing – Isaiah 43:19
Sccc

“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”

Reflection: Early in this new year, God reminds us that He specializes in new beginnings. This verse speaks to those moments when we feel stuck, when our circumstances seem unchangeable. God’s message is clear – He’s actively working, even when we can’t see it. Just as He can create streams in a desert, He can bring life to our seemingly hopeless situations. The key is learning to perceive His work, to recognize His hand moving in our lives, even in unexpected ways.

Prayer of the Day: Dear God, open my eyes to see the new things You’re doing in my life. Give me faith to trust Your work, even in wilderness seasons. Thank You for making streams in my desert places. Help me walk forward with hope and expectation. Amen.
